Day #174

Today was spent indoors again thanks to Tropical Storm Debbie. I  spend a few minutes today running around to FedEx Office to print out some free tickets Crystal was given for us to see Disney/Pixar’s new movie, ‘Brave’. The day made me think of how easy simple tasks (like printing a piece of paper off a printer) would be if we weren’t living in a hotel anymore. Common activities like using a printer & going to the toolbox to get a screwdriver have been somewhat tamed by my life on tour. I am fortunate enough to have a workbox that has items like this that I might need on a somewhat regular basis. Unfortunately, when traveling away from the show I am again without. Hopefully someday soon, after the wedding, Crystal & I will be able to find a home somewhere. Together.

But I digress. We went out for a quick ‘earl of’ sandwich downtown before heading to the most impressive movie theatre I have ever been in: 3 levels of stadium seating, the top of which was a legitimate balcony. Crazy. On the way in, I subscribed to the Chase Jarvis theory of photography: ‘the best camera is the one with you’. Snapped with my iPhone, the wall scones in the entrance to the theatre was stunning and graphic and modern. Just my style.
More soon. —D
