Day #53

After checking the forecast for today, Crystal and I opted to forgo our trip into the mountains of North Carolina and stay a bit closer to Greenville today.  With a bright sun overhead, and some white clouds floating by, we spent the day in the GORGEOUS weather wandering around Falls Park here in downtown Greenville, SC.  After finding the extremely cool looking remnants of an old riverside building and taking a few photos of my beautiful fiancé around them, we headed back for a quick wardrobe change, and to pick up some more photo gear for what I hoped would be some self-taken engagement photos… and some better lit photos of Crys.  Thankfully she is one of the more patient people I know when it comes to my photography, allowing me some time to set up and create some fun photos of us.  Unfortunately, we only ended up with a few of the two of us… it’s hard to try and adjust poses and tweak angles and find things that could make a photo look better from the wrong side of the lens.  Fortunately, we are enlisting the services and assistance of a friend and fellow photographer, tomorrow (weather permitting) for some real photographs of the two of us in this gorgeous park.  For now, today’s photo of the day is my favorite of the self-taken engagement photos, as well as a few highlights from the other photos I was able to take from the correct side of the lens today…  more tomorrow.
